Mrs. Jerrie Anne Conley, of Martin, is on her third year as housemother
at Alpha Upsilon.
“Mom Conley “grew up in Trimble Tennessee, attended the University of Tennessee at Martin
and taught Elementary Education until retirement in the Weakley County School System. She has also worked at UT Martin as a Supervisor of Student Teachers, working with the Kindergarten Practicum Class, and taught Remedial Reading to at risk freshman students.
As the housemother for AGR, she would like to see the chapter expand their role in the community. “Alpha Gamma Rho has always been a giving fraternity and as housemother I would like to see them continue to grow this even more,” stated Mom Conley.
Mom Conley has been very active in the community, including leadership roles in the Martin Pilot Club and Alpha Delta Kappa Professional Teacher Sorority.
Mom Conley shares the unique distinction of being one-if not the only housemother legacy in the country. Mom Conley is the daughter of Mom Johnella Childress, who was Alpha Upsilon‘s housemother during the 90s!
